Beth Doty, community activist, honored by Sen. Chris Coons
More than 100 people joined U.S. Senator Chris Coons Aug. 4 at Lavender Fields farm in Coolspring to celebrate Beth Doty’s election as a Sussex County delegate to the Democratic Presidential Convention in Charlotte, N.C., next month. Doty is a retired director of Pencader Hundred Community Center and currently president of the West Rehoboth Community Land Trust.
The event was sponsored by the 14th Representative District Democratic Committee and the Progressive Democrats of Sussex County.
