Cape outlasted a physical and fast-flying Caravel team 6-1 Oct. 24 at Champions Stadium, breaking open a close game with three fourth-quarter goals by Noelle Sabbagh on an assist from LuLu Rishko and two from Reagan Ciabattoni.
Cape led in shots on goal 19-10, with goalkeeper Julie Heffernan pressed into making five saves. Alex Boettcher recorded 14 saves for the Bucs.
Devon DeGregory scored for Caravel off a corner at 11:34 of the fourth quarter.
Cape plays at Sussex Academy Tuesday, Oct. 27, then hosts Smyrna Thursday, Oct. 29.
