Carol Ann Davis, loved to sing

Carol Ann Davis, 66, of Rehoboth Beach passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021, at her residence. She was born March 13, 1955, in Philadelphia, Pa., daughter of the late Thomas Joseph and Catherine (Hannan) Donohue.

Mrs. Davis loved singing, especially with her karaoke family at the Elks and VFW. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her two children: Carolyn McCabe and her husband Vaughn, and Allen Sykes; her three grandchildren: Vaughn McCabe III, Brayden Sykes, and Khloe Sykes; her sisters: Kathy Donohue, Rene Streit, Rose Kennedy, Debbie Donohue; and her brother, Tom Donohue.  

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, masks are required, and social distancing must be observed by any and all persons participating in any aspect of the services.
