Carole M. Quinton, dental hygienist

Carole M. Quinton (nee Slayton), 82, of Dover died peacefully Wednesday, July 14, 2021.
Born to the late Kenneth and Isabelle Slayton (Drummond) in Brooklyn, N.Y., she graduated from Midwood High School, class of 1957, and Brooklyn College, where she studied to become a dental hygienist, a career she would hold for about 50 years. She was a beloved mom, grandmother and new great-grandmother.
Carole is survived by her wonderful husband of 37 years Dr. Alfred P. Quinton; her sons, Walt (Stephanie) Smith and Erich (Virginia) Smith; her stepson, Bill (Debbie) Quinton; her stepdaughters, Sue (John) McNulty, Carrie (John) Oesmann and Jeannette Quinton; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
