Caroline Radel, former Rehoboth employee
Caroline Radel, 81, passed away peacefully at her home in Pike Creek Friday, Nov. 12, 2021.
She was born in Harrisburg, Pa., Oct. 21, 1940, the daughter of the late Lena (Miller) and Harry Radel. She worked as a Rehoboth Beach Parking Department administrator. She was devoted to and adored by family, who all looked up to her for strength and guidance; and beloved by friends. Caroline enjoyed travel and adventure. Some of her favorites were the Delaware beaches, Paris, the Swiss Alps, Clearwater Spring Training, Beaver Stadium, idyllic wineries and her favorite restaurants. In addition to her parents, Caroline was predeceased by her sister Marie Farner.
Caroline is survived by her loving partner Richard Moon; children Peter Heinbaugh (Denise), Judith Harman (Bryan) and Joseph Heinbaugh (Vickie); grandchildren Matthew, Leigh, Angie (Curtis), Melissa (Christopher), Carlena (Ryan), Rebecca (Eric), Richard (Michelle), Brandon (Jennifer) and Jeremy; great-grandchildren Jackson, Addison, Brandelynn, Ella, Jillian, Abigail, Alexis, Cora and Ava; and by her siblings Harry Radel, Doris Weber (Nick), Richard Radel (Sandy), and Grace Wilson.
Caroline is grateful to her loved ones for giving her a happy life. Please think of her and smile, remembering all the good times.
