Dave Marshall Tennis & Pickleball in Lewes recently announced the completion of renovated, dedicated indoor pickleball courts, enhancing recreational opportunities for the Sussex County community.
As pickleball continues to grow in popularity, Dave Marshall, founder and owner, said he is excited for the facility to expand its pickleball offerings to meet the needs of the resort area’s casual players and dedicated enthusiasts.
"Our mission has always been to provide the best commercial facility for racquet sports in the region," said Marshall. "With the addition of these new courts, we’re creating a space for players of all levels to enjoy the fastest-growing sport in America."
The new courts come with a variety of reservation options, with all bookings through the Court Reserve app. The facility aims to foster a strong community atmosphere. Players can participate in group clinics, reserve courts for private games or take advantage of available time blocks throughout the day.
"We’re not just building courts; we’re building a community," said Marshall. "Pickleball is more than a sport; it’s a way to connect, compete and stay active."
Tim Fitzgerald, Mid-Atlantic sales manager for Keystone Sports Construction, which installed the new pickleball courts, said, “We take pride in delivering courts that inspire excellence and elevate the playing experience. Working on this project was a privilege, and we're thrilled to see these courts become a hub for community engagement and athletic achievement. It's always rewarding to help create spaces where players can thrive, from casual matches to championship dreams."
