Carrie Lingo Team of Jack Lingo Realtor holds luau at Showfield

Jack Lingo Realtor hosted an end-of-summer luau Aug. 31 to celebrate the release of the final phase of the Showfield community.

Showfield is a gorgeous, 132-acre community along Gills Neck Road in Lewes, featuring 166 home lots. With 75 percent  of the lots already sold, Showfield has become a high-demand community among both local and out-of-state buyers. Jack Lingo Realtor spared no expense to ensure that Showfield’s luau was as successful as possible. From 12 to 3 p.m., the public enjoyed an open house during which the final phase of Showfield was released, and from 5 to 7 p.m., Showfield homeowners enjoyed their own private event.

During the luau, a tent was set up adjacent to White’s Pond, a 16-acre natural pond and one of four ponds in the Showfield community. A large number of guests joined in the fun, with folks visiting both locally and from as far away as New England. Moreover, all of Showfield’s builders had homes open: Canalfront Builders, Echelon Homes, Garrison Homes, Insight Homes, Lessard Builders and Schell Brothers. Food was prepared by Chef GG, who is new to the area and will be opening an Indian fusion restaurant on Savannah Road later this year.
