Dylan King, a three-sport senior at Sussex Central High School, has signed with Norwich University – the Military College of Vermont, where he will wrestle and pursue the ROTC curriculum.
Norwich is a Division III school that competes in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference. Student-athletes are called Cadets. Norwich University offers 20 varsity sports.
King ran cross country and played lacrosse, but it is wrestling where he made his bones.
“I couldn't even make varsity my freshman year, then by junior year I won the conference and have been a state placer the last two seasons,” he said. “I’m very happy with the way I was able to progress.”
King is a walk around sub-130-pound guy who will wrestle 125 pounds at Norwich.
Norwich is a private military college with 2,100 undergraduate students and 1,300 graduate students. It is the birthplace of ROTC.
