Mountaire Farms adds to total of more than 23,000 meal boxes packed this year for Delmarva families

More than 100 volunteers helped Mountaire Farms staff pack 3,500 meal boxes Dec. 20 at its Selbyville plant. The boxes, with food for a family of four, were picked up at the warehouse that day by more than 50 churches, nonprofit groups and organizations for distribution in their own communities. Mountaire’s Thanksgiving for Thousands in November was a record breaker, with 10,000 meals packed in Delaware and another 16,000 meal boxes in North Carolina. Mountaire will have another meal distribution for Easter 2022.
