Clydesdales still coming to Dewey tonight
Will highlight Dewey Business Partnership’s first Summer Solstice Parade

The Dewey Business Partnership’s first Summer Solstice Celebration, scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, June 23, will take place as planned.
Highlighting the event will be a parade with the Budweiser Clydesdales and a bayside beach party for all ages with the 19th Street Band on Dickinson Avenue. There will also be floats, cars, music, local celebrities.
The parade will start at 6:30 p.m. on Saulsbury Street and Route 1 and continue southbound to Dickinson Avenue. The parade will then continue to the bayside of Van Dyke Avenue for a bayside bonfire, kids’ activities and live music. There is no rain date.
In light of the parade, motorists should expect some delays.
