DAR hears from Sterling Street of Nanticoke Indian Museum

The Colonel David Hall Chapter NSDAR welcomed Sterling Street as its speaker Jan. 22.

Street is coordinator of the Nanticoke Indian Museum in Millsboro. He shared his vast knowledge of Delaware's Native Americans and their history, which he is devoted to documenting for future generations.

Attendees said they thoroughly enjoyed his presentation and learned a great deal about the first nations of the Americas.

The NSDAR is a service organization for women who are descended from a patriot who served in the American Revolution. The group is dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through education.
