Deborah L. ‘Debbie’ Kline, Sussex homemaker

Deborah L. “Debbie” Kline, 63, of Georgetown passed away Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. She was born in Lewes to Patricia (Murphy) Tucker and the late Avery Tucker June 27, 1955.  

One of eight children, she was a resident of Sussex County her entire life.  She enjoyed being a homemaker and listening to Elvis music.  

In addition to her father, Debbie is preceded by her sister, Laura James.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, John A. Kline Jr.; her son, John A. Kline III and his fiancée, Angela Guerrieri; three brothers, Avery Jr., Alberta “Butch” and Buster; three sisters, Brenda, Johanna and Tressa; five grandchildren, Samantha, Natalie, Kayla, Dakota and Lexi; and one great-grandson, Greysen.  

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown.  A time of visitation will begin at noon.  Interment will be private.
