Debra B. Riddle, enjoyed her family

Debra B. Riddle, 63, of Laurel passed Monday, Nov. 12, 2018, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Milford July 11, 1955, daughter of the late Joshua and Ethel Morgan Jones.

Mrs. Riddle was the former director of the Georgetown Center for the Disabled, retiring after 30 years. She was an avid reader, loved trips to the beach, and enjoyed her time as a team player of trivia at Mulligan’s Pointe Country Club. She was a former member of the Blades Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxilliary. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family and friends, beloved nieces and nephews, and especially her granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Riddle was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Riddle in 2007. She is survived by one daughter Kelly Michelle Riddle of Laurel; one son, W. Nathaniel Brennen and his wife Caden of Baltimore, Md.; and her granddaughter, Ariel Wei-An Brennen; three brothers: Jay Jones of Allentown, Pa., Guy and Sue Jones of Delmar, Md., and Jimmy and Ethel Jones of Millsboro; and four sisters: Janet Tyndall of Georgetown, Sandy McGeehan-Dekker of Laurel, Dawn Benton of Laurel, and Patti and Bob Wilson of Georgetown.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 1 p.m., at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Dodd-Carey Chapel, 307 N. Bedford St., Georgetown, where friends may visit beginning at noon.

Friends may also visit at the funeral home, Monday, Nov. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Burial will follow services at Carey’s Cemetery, Millsboro, followed by a celebration of her life at Mulligan’s Pointe Country Club in Georgetown, starting at 4 p.m.
