Delaware Beach Life seeks photo contest entries by July 1
Delaware Beach Life magazine invites amateur photographers to enter its 11th annual photography contest. Photographs must focus on life in coastal Delaware. Categories are: Wildlife (wild animals in their natural habitat); Scenic (images may include people or pets); and People (in action or not). Entries must be postmarked before Sunday, July 1.
Photographers may submit up to three entries per category. Images may be color, black-and-white or digitally altered, but will not be judged separately. Only photographic prints – no smaller than 8 inches and no larger than 14 inches in either direction – may be submitted. Prints smaller than 8-by-8 or larger than 14-by-14 will not be accepted.
Judges will evaluate entries based on creativity, originality and technical proficiency. Winners will be announced in the October issue of Delaware Beach Life, which will feature the top three photographs in each category. The winning photographs will also be displayed at the Rehoboth Beach Museum and on the Delaware Beach Life website.
A completed entry form must accompany each entry. There is no fee to enter the contest.
