Delmarva Christian High School announces that six new teachers have joined its staff for the 2015-16 academic year.
John Jochum, a 23-year teaching veteran, will join the staff as a teacher of chemistry, AP Chemistry, physical science, anatomy and physiology, and physics.
Paul Phalen attends Avenue Methodist Church in Milford and will be teaching biology and earth science courses.
Keith Stonebraker, a member of LifeHouse Church in Middletown, will teach computer applications and strategic financial planning, and act as Delmarva Christian High School’s internship coordinator.
The Rev. Dr. Craig Taylor recently started the Living Hope Church of the Nazarene in Lewes. Taylor will teach apologetics, senior thesis project, and digital design and media courses.
Dan Walton, teaching elder at Harrington Baptist Church in Harrington, will teach ninth-grade Story of Christ and 10th-grade Old and New Testament Bible classes.
Dan Young, head coach of the Eastern Shore Bucks, a Christian varsity football program, will act as Delmarva Christian High School’s director of youth sports and teach physical education, health and fitness classes.
