Dining For Down Syndrome March 8 at Dos Locos
Dos Locos Restaurant will be hosting a Dining for Down Syndrome event Tuesday, March 8, at the location at 208 Rehoboth Ave. The restaurant will donate 20 percent of the evening’s food sales to support the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk Buddy Walk and Buddy Fest.
The restaurant will be festooned in blue and gold, and diners will receive party favors. All that is required is that everyone eats, pays their bill and has fun; Dos Locos will make the contribution on behalf of the customers.
The Buddy Walk raises funds to support programs such as Best Buddies and Special Olympics. The goal of the Buddy Walk is to demonstrate the abilities of people with cognitive disorders so they are accepted and included as valuable members of the community.
The Buddy Fest will take place in Rehoboth Beach Oct. 7-8. The Boardwalk Buddy Walk will be held at 9 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 8. For more information contact michelle@boardwalkbuddywalk.com.
