East Coast Garden Center holds Brews, BBQ and Bushes event

The East Coast Garden Center held a Brews, BBQ and Bushes fundraiser Aug 5 at the center near Oak Orchard. Proceeds for the event will go to the Cordrey Charities. The Cordrey Charities is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and sharing the joys and rewards of gardening and living among plants with all members of their community.
At the event three talks were given by East Coast Garden Center professionals on planting bushes, trimming bushes and bushes for bees and butterflies. Local brewers were on hand providing small tasting and glasses of beer along with Sposato Winery providing a selection pf their wines. Also on hand was Bethany Blues providing a variety of their BBQ specialties.
