Elaine Plummer Sharp, loved by many
Elaine Plummer Sharp, 78, of Georgetown, passed Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023.
Elaine was born Sept. 14, 1945, in Milford. Elaine spent her childhood in Lincoln and Milford. She graduated from Milford High School. Later, she married the love of her life, Bruce Sharp, and they spent 30-plus years in Las Vegas, Nev. After Bruce passed, she moved to Phoenix, Ariz. Later, Elaine moved back to Milford to be near family, and finally to Georgetown, and lived with her cousin/sister, Kay M. Dill.
She passed away at Harrison House in Georgetown, struggling for each breath with COPD.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Sharp; her mother, Elizabeth Outten Plummer; and her father, Louis R. Plummer.
She is survived by numerous cousins and friends.
A memorial service for both Elaine and Bruce will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to Carlisle Fire Company, 615 N.W. Front St., Milford, DE 19963, in memory of both Bruce and Elaine Sharp.
