Emma Hall, profound sense of humor
Emma Hall, born July 19, 1935, affectionately known to family and friends as “Aunt Emma,” gained her angel wings Wednesday, March 16, 2022.
Emma attended William C. Jason Comprehensive High School, and was known for her profound sense of humor. Emma’s favorite pastimes were watching court TV programs and reading.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents, York and Katherine Hall; brothers, Richard “Dickie” Waples, Amos Waples and Howard “Skibo” Waples; sisters, Elenor Beckett, Margaret “Tom” Hall, Savannah Blackwell, Teresa Huffman and Hester “Judy” Gordon.
Left behind to treasure her memories are her son, Tavaris Hall of Seaford; grandsons, Tavaris J. Hall of Lincoln, Javon Long of Philadelphia, Pa., and Gianni and Keymianni Hall of Milford; two brothers, Kenneth Hall (Jeanette) and Adonest “Donnie” Hall Sr., both of Millsboro; one sister, Velma Hall of Lewes; special nieces, Roberta “Bobbi” Hopkins (Randolph) of Millsboro, and Venita Hall of Baltimore, Md.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 30, at Friendship United Methodist Church, 30983 Friendship Road, Millsboro.
