Everlasting Hope Ministries tent services kick off Aug. 13

August 1, 2024

Everlasting Hope Ministries announced its 31st Annual Tent Services will begin at 7 p.m., from Tuesday to Thursday, Aug. 13 to 15, and 3 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 18, under the big tent on the grounds of the Richard Allen School, 316 South Railroad Ave., Georgetown.

The purpose of these meetings is to encourage and support individuals whose lives have been adversely affected by drugs and/or alcohol.

A guest speaker will present a timely message each night to inspire and challenge those in attendance to resist drugs and alcohol. Attendees will also be challenged to strive for individual excellence through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The speakers are as follows: Tuesday, Aug. 13, Bishop Roland Mifflin from The Church of the New Beginning, Dagsboro; Wednesday, Aug. 14, Apostle Helena Bailey from Kingdom Life Family Ministries, Laurel; Thursday, Aug. 15, Elder Frank Gibbs Jr. from New Dimensions Family Ministries, Millsboro; and Sunday, Aug. 18, the Rev. Tony Neal, hosting pastor and Everlasting Hope Ministries director.

A testimony service will be held during Sunday’s finale. Pastors, leaders and community members are asked to come out and share how God brought them through their struggles. All of the services are open to the public.
