Faith and Blue barbecue held in Rehoboth Beach
Police and local churches collaborate for free event Oct. 19
The Rehoboth Beach Police Department, St. Edmond Church and Westminster Presbyterian Church hosted a free family barbecue Oct. 19, as part of the national Faith & Blue Weekend. The Rehoboth Beach Police Department, St. Edmond Church and Westminster Presbyterian Church hosted a free family barbecue Oct. 19, at the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company’s fire station on Rehoboth Avenue as part of the National Faith & Blue Weekend. Barbecued chicken and hot dog platters were provided.
The nationwide event is a collaborative initiative designed to build bridges between law enforcement officials and the communities they serve.
