Final touches placed on Lewes Elementary School
Long-awaited panels being installed

On the morning of Feb. 14, workers were making the final touches at Lewes Elementary School.
Construction Manager Dean Johnson of Richard Y. Johnson said installation of the long-awaited Trespa and composite panels above school entrances will take about 10 days.
“The composite panels are on the bus entrance area,” he said. “Trespa is on the main office and playground area. It took forever to get them, so I’m tickled they are here.”
The 95,000-square-foot, $38 million school opened April 27, 2022.
