Folk musician John McCutcheon to perform concert July 21
Seaside Jewish Community will bring folk music legend John McCutcheon to perform for its summer concert at 7 p.m., Sunday, July 21, at Epworth United Methodist Church on Holland Glade Road north of Rehoboth Beach.
“We are delighted to be bringing this nationally acclaimed musician to Rehoboth Beach,” said Lawrence Krevor, Seaside Jewish Community president. McCutcheon has been delighting audiences with live performances and recordings for decades. The late Johnny Cash referred to him as “the most impressive multi-instrumentalist” he had ever heard.
Along with storytelling and fun, listeners will hear this master musician play hammered dulcimer, banjo, piano, harmonica, guitar and more.
Tickets are $36 per adult, $18 for those age 18 and under, free for children 6 and under, and available on Seaside’s website, seasidejewishcommunity.com. All seats are general admission.
