Frantic Music to host open mic at Brimming Horn Oct. 15

The Frantic Music Project will present a special open mic event at 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 15, at Brimming Horn Meadery, 28615 Lewes Georgetown Highway, Milton.

Backline is provided, including PA, microphones, stands, electric guitar and bass amp, and drum kit. Solos, duos and small bands with original or cover music are welcome to this acoustic/electric event. Live sound is provided by King Pin Productions, and signups will begin at 3:45 p.m. on site.

The Frantic Music open mic is sponsored by Frantic Frets Music & Antiques and Brimming Horn Meadery. The open mic is a program provided by Frantic Music Project connecting area musicians and those who enjoy live music.

A large selection of crafted mead is available from the meadery, and its Hammer and Horns Food Truck will be offering a variety of foods for purchase.

Guests are encouraged to bring folding chairs, as seating is limited. The event is open to musicians and fans of live music, and there is no cover charge. Donations for Frantic Music Project are gratefully accepted.

Frantic Music Project is a 501c3 charitable organization with a mission to provide subsidized equipment, services and financial aid to economically challenged performing musicians, regardless of age, who currently have or are pursuing a music career in Delaware.
