People know all of his songs, and two of those songs have been inducted to the Guinness World Records as the greatest songs of all time. His death sparked international tributes to one of the greatest performers ever to have lived. Now, nearly 20 years after he died, Freddie Mercury is coming back to the stage with a one-night-only tribute from Grammy nominee Terry Barber. Milton Theatre @the Beach and CAMP Rehoboth Community Center will present “Mercury: A Tribute To Freddie Mercury" at 7:30 p.m.,Thursday, May 2, at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center.
Barber was a full-time member of the Grammy-nominated ensemble Chanticleer and is an international opera singer. His countertenor voice is beloved worldwide by classical music fans and musical theatre lovers alike. He has also worked with many of the music industry's songwriters, composers, and producers. Most notably, he has recorded on albums with Grammy Award-winning artists like Madonna, Jewel, Chaka Khan, Cyndi Lauper, Steve Smith and many more.
Joining Barber is a group of nationally touring musicians featuring Don Carr of the Oak Ridge Boys, Grace Field, Jonathan Cummings, and "Bones" Moltedo.
