Habitat for Humanity holds Look Who’s Cooking

More than 200 people attended Sussex County Habitat for Humanity’s Look Who's Cooking Sussex County Challenge at St. Jude Parish Center outside Lewes. Local real estate professionals donned their amateur chef hats and made their favorite appetizers, entrees and desserts to compete for the title of Sussex County champion. Attendees tasted and voted for their favorites. Door prizes were chosen and a 50/50 was held at the event. All proceeds benefit Sussex County Habitat for Humanity.

Awards were presented to the following competitors in their respective categories:

Appetizer

First place: Audrey Serios of Keller Williams, butternut squash soup
Second place: Margaret Poisson, C21 Gold Key, honey garlic meatballs
Third place: Chris Beagle, Compass Realtors, pulled pork mac ‘n’ cheese bombs.

Entrée

First place: Adam Linder, Northrop Realtors, Asian short ribs
Second place: Kacie Pinnock, Lori Martin Group, salsa verde chicken
Third place: Allison Foshhee, The Real McCoy Group, manicotti.

Dessert

First place: Cheryl Crowe, Jack Lingo Realtor, Lemon lavender cupcakes
Second place: Paul Sicari, Compass Realtors, Mexican chocolate tart
Third place: Pierre Saez, EXP Coastal, tiramisu.
