Heather L. Bright, Barclays employee

It is with great sadness that the family of Heather Bright of Harbeson announces her passing Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at the age of 44.  She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  

Heather was born Dec. 15, 1974, in Wilmington. She graduated from St. Elizabeth High School and Neumann University, and had a successful career at Barclays. She cherished and loved her family, dogs and life.

She is preceded in death by her father, Michael Williams; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bud and Virginia Bright; her grandparents, Richard and Doris Rigler and Oliver Alfred and Helen Louise Kiracofe;  her brother-in-law, Brad Benedetto; her uncle, Ricky Rigler and her aunt, Sharon Miller.

Heather will be dearly missed by her high school sweetheart and loving husband, Anthony; and her beautiful daughter, Ava; her mother, Nancy Williams; her three sisters, her twin, Jennifer McFarland (Dan), Lauren Benedetto and  Abigail Kiracofe; her father, Steve Kiracofe (Kay) and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Elizabeth R.C. Church 809 S. Broom St. Wilmington, Saturday, Jan. 19, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at noon. A private burial will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ava Bright Education Fund, c/o WSFS Bank, 3202 Kirkwood Highway Wilmington, DE 19808.

Heather is finally at peace, and we will hold her close in our hearts. Please hold her close, as we do, in your mind, spirit and your heart. As Heather would say “Live the Life you Love, Learn from yesterday, Live for today and Hope for tomorrow."
