Hundreds of children – with their parents in tow – converged along the Rehoboth Bay April 16 for the Dewey Business Partnership’s annual Egg Scoop.
Held on the bay beach behind Hyatt Place Dewey Beach, the event drew a festive crowd on a warm spring day. Dogs came dressed in their finest attire, and children posed for photos with the Easter Bunny on the Baywalk.
Dewey Business Partnership Executive Director Kelly Ranieri said more than 10,000 eggs were scooped up by children, with candy for the littlest egg hunters donated by Jimmy O’Conor of Woody’s Dewey Beach Bar and Grill.
The Dewey Business Partnership hosts the Egg Scoop, Arts & Fun Festival, Kids’ Running of the Bull and other family friendly events. For more information, go to deweybusinesspartnership.com.
