Irma Snively, loved the Lord
Irma “Liz” Snively of Georgetown passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. Liz was born in a German community in Romania. During WWII, they were moved back to Germany as refugees. This is where, at 17, she met her husband Bob during his service in the Army and they remained married for 66 years. Her passions were the Lord, her family, serving others, tennis, and gardening at her home and the intersection of Sussex Pines Road and Cedar Lane.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Snively; her four children, Janice Leav Parker, Heidi Moore, Donna Renny Atkinson and David Snively; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 25, at Crossroad Community Church, 20684 State Forest Road, Georgetown. A time of visitation will begin at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations are sincerely appreciated to Crossroad Community Church or Delaware Hospice.
