Janet Irene Reynolds, loved being grandmother

Janet Irene Reynolds, 79, of Dagsboro, passed away Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016, with her family by her side.
She was born to the late Frank and Florence Wood, Jan. 2, 1937, in Quarryville, Pa. On Feb. 6, 1954, Janet married her childhood friend, the love of her life John T. Reynolds Sr.
She was a member of the East Sussex Moose Lodge. Janet loved Christmas, crafts, yard work, yard sales, caring for animals, collecting family pictures, and most of all she loved being a grandmother.
She was a devoted mother of Deborah Hollis, Jacqueline Manning and John "Ted" Reynolds Jr., and her precious dog Cuddles; loving grandmother of Laura Bennett, Kelly Drummond, James Durham, John Hojnicki, Amanda Cook, Elizabeth Fenescey and Chris Hollis; along with 14 great-grandchildren including her great-grandson, Mason Drummond, whom she had a special relationship with; and several nieces and nephews.
Janet was preceded in death by her brother Raymond Wood; and sister, Doris Neubauer.
Family and friends will gather at Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St., Frankford, Saturday, Nov. 19, at 10 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made for Mason's college fund which was very important to her at WSFS Bank, Janet Reynolds Memorial Fund.
