Janney donates to Clothing Our Kids

Janney’s financial advisors and staff in its Lewes office collected needed apparel items to support Clothing Our Kids this holiday season.

Team members collected new winter coats, hats, gloves, socks and underwear to support the organization.

“Our advisors and staff were pleased to collect clothing for local schoolchildren,” said Ed Duffy, Janney Lewes branch manager. “When we learned that many children miss school, not because they are ill, but because they do not have clean clothes, we were moved.”

Clothing Our Kids is a volunteer-driven organization that provides clothing, shoes and coats to at-risk elementary school children in Sussex County at no charge. During the current school year, the organization has distributed nearly 11,000 items to 2,467 children in local schools.
