Jeffrey Eugene Windsor, dedicated project manager
Jeffrey Eugene Windsor, 68, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024, in Seaford. He was born March 30, 1956, in Washington, D.C., beloved son of the late Harvey and Betty Jean (Wells) Windsor.
A dedicated project manager by profession, Jeffrey worked extensively in custom millwork, bringing his passion for craftsmanship to life. He had a deep love for woodworking, old cars, and hot rods, and found great joy in kayaking. Always the jokester, Jeffrey was known for his quick wit and unforgettable one-liners. He was a perfectionist who thrived on staying busy, preferring to fix things himself before ever calling for help.
Jeffrey was a devoted family man, a loyal friend, and a person who always saw the good in others.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother; Danny Windsor; parents-in-law, James and Betty Karas; brother-in-law, Jim Karas; and sister-in-law, Susan Karas.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Bette Jean (Karas) Windsor; his sisters, Vickie Bliss (Dale) and Judy Windsor; as well as his sisters-in-law, Barbara Nagy (Sonny), Debra Sadelson, Jackie Rash and Janet Loyet; and many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Jeffrey will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 1, at Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro, with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
