Jersey Mike’s to donate March 31 proceeds

Autism Delaware is encouraging Delaware residents to order from their local Jersey Mike’s Subs shop in March, not only because the subs and wraps are delicious but also because Autism Delaware is Jersey Mike’s 11th Annual Month of Giving designated charity.

Jersey Mike’s locations in Rehoboth Beach and Millsboro are among participating stores that will honor Autism Delaware through the month and invite customers to donate to the agency. The Month of Giving will culminate in a Day of Giving Wednesday, March 31, when all stores will donate 100 percent of the day’s sales to Autism Delaware. 

David Woods, Autism Delaware community engagement director, said, “This will be the seventh year of our partnership with Jersey Mike’s, during which time we have received nearly $120,000 for programs and services to support individuals and families affected by autism. Jersey Mike’s has also become a job provider for participants in our adult vocational program, POW&R, short for Productive Opportunities for Work and Recreation.”
