Joan C. Sheldon, secretary, salesperson

Joan C. Sheldon, 71, of Millsboro, passed away Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, in Beebe Healthcare, Lewes.
She was born Oct. 14, 1945, a daughter of the late William and Mary (Masca) Kullman. Joan is predeceased by her husband, David C. Sheldon, who passed away in 2010.
She worked as a paralegal with the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., and previously worked as an advertising salesperson for the Dan Gaffney Radio Show and as a secretary and receptionist for Millman's Appliances on Coastal Highway.
Joan enjoyed and loved her two Bengal cats.
Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 19, at noon, at Conley's Chapel, 22150 Robinsonville Road, Lewes. Inurnment will follow in Conley's Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made in Joan's name to the SPCA, P. O. Box 398, Georgetown, DE 19947.
