Laura J. Hopkins, Hopkins Granary owner

Laura J. Hopkins, 77, of Harbeson passed away Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. Laura was born in Lewes, the daughter of the late Harold and Catherine (Wilson) Joseph. 

Along with her husband, she was owner of Hopkins Granary in Milton. She enjoyed camping and traveling.

Laura is survived by her husband, John A. Hopkins Jr.; children, Donna Gooner and fiancé Craig; and John A. Hopkins III and wife Dawn; four grandchildren, Justin Hopkins, Izaac Hopkins, R.J. Gooner and Skye Gooner; three great-grandchildren and a great-niece, Dawn Crouch.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 4, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be in Coolspring Presbyterian Cemetery, Coolspring.
