Lewes Juneteenth event vendor applications due June 15
The City of Lewes African American Heritage Commission is seeking vendors and volunteers for its annual Juneteenth Freedom Day celebration to be held from 1 to 6 p.m., Saturday, June 28, at George H.P. Smith Park, Lewes.
There is no vendor fee, and the event is free and open to the public.
Performers this year include the Tyehimba African Drum and Dance Ensemble from Philadelphia, Christy Taylor Music, Best Kept Soul and a host of other special guests.
Interested vendors, food truck operators and organization representatives looking to host information booths are asked to complete and return a registration form. Food truck space is limited. In the case of inclement weather or an excessive heat warning, the event will be held inside Lewes Elementary School on Savannah Road.
