Lisa Graff to present new show with local musicians July 8, 15
Local performer Lisa Graff will present her new show, "Mama, Won't You Dance with Me?" at 6:30 p.m., Monday, July 8, and Monday, July 15, at Paul Cullen’s The Room at Cedar Grove near Lewes.
Cape Region musicians partnering with Graff again will be veteran singer and star bartender Holly Lane, accompanied by pianist John Flynn.
“My fourth show is a loving tribute to my mother Kathrynn, and together, Holly, John and I have selected a variety of 12 popular songs to accompany the story, which begins in 1928,” said Graff. “I’ve written about the lessons learned as a waitress, the challenges of managing a college freshman dormitory, and the love of a fellow actor while getting a master’s degree in Chicago. I’ve been able to draw repeat attendees because they want to know what’s next.”
