Lois I. Hartranft, UGI Penn Natural Gas Inc. retiree

Lois I. Hartranft, 93, of Millsboro, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, at home. She was born Jan. 8, 1929, in Exeter Township, Pa., daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine Faber. She was also predeceased by her husband, Russell F. Hartranft in 2020.

Ms. Hartranft built a lifelong career as an executive assistant at UGI Penn Natural Gas Inc. in Reading, Pa., retiring after 35 dedicated years. After retirement, she moved to Millsboro.

Lois was an auxiliary member of American Legion Post 28. In her free time, she could often be found playing dominoes with her close friends. She will be deeply missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Reed (Gene) of New York; and her close neighbors, Ken and Carol A. Large.

Final care for Ms. Hartranft has been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Home of the Brave Foundation, 6632 Sharps Road, Milford, DE 19963.
