Louise Bernice Odee, enjoyed her family
Louise Bernice Odee, 81, of Lewes, passed away suddenly Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, at her residence. She was born Jan. 17, 1934, in Tire Hill, Pa., daughter of the late John Salain and Edith Border Salain.
Mrs. Odee had worked for many years as a secretary in the sheet metal industry.
She enjoyed immensely being around her family and spoiling them with little gifts. Louise was also a lover of all animals; passionate about her yard and its appearance; was an avid reader and bowler; enjoyed traveling all over the world; and was loved by all who knew her, including her church, Bethel United Methodist, as well as many of the people she took time to help at various long term care centers in the area.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert Odee in December, 1998; and two daughters, Debra Linkswiler in 1997 and Tina Odee in 2011.
Surviving are her son Robert Odee and his wife Kelly of Egg Harbor City, NJ.; her sister Betty Layton of Texas; and four grandchildren whom she adored, Tara and Alex Odee and William Janiszewski Jr. and Phillip Janiszewski; and nieces Tanya and Tracey from Texas.
Services and burial will be private at the Bethel Methodist Cemetery, Lewes.
