Louise G. Shaffer, Epworth member
Louise G. Shaffer, 79, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away peacefully with her family at her side Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., Monday, Nov. 28, 1932, daughter of the late Raymond and Lena (DeLillo) Cirillo. She was preceded in death by one sister, Theresa DiBuonaventura.
Mrs. Shaffer was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, loved boating, swimming cooking and walking on the beach. She was a wonderful wife, aunt and friend and will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
Mrs. Shaffer is survived by her husband, Ray W. Shaffer of Rehoboth Beach; two nieces, Ann Bailey and Denise and her husband Daniel Grabowski; one nephew, Albert and his wife Donna DiBuonaventura; and one great-niece, Rachel DiBuonaventura. Additional surviving nieces and nephews include Kimberly, Chester Jr., James and Thomas Shaffer, Rose Barr, Iris Starr and Mary Ann Wilson.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 24, at the Epworth United Methodist Church, 19285 Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth Beach. Interment will be private.
