Mariachi Restaurant wins Gumbo Crawl
More than a dozen restaurants compete in annual event
The 2023 Rehoboth Beach Gumbo Crawl took place April 29. The event sold out, with some participants dressing for the occasion. The 2023 Rehoboth Beach Gumbo Crawl took place April 29, and after all the ballots were counted, Mariachi Restaurant was named the winner of this year’s contest.
The annual event is co-hosted by Rehoboth Beach Main Street and the Purple Parrot. For the second straight year, it was a sell out crowd with 1,000 tickets sold.
More than a dozen restaurants participated. Finishing in second place was Above the Dunes, while Tiki Jac’s Street Eats & Brews finished in third place.
