Mariner wrestling falls to Georgetown Middle School

Mariner wrestling coach Sean Mann looked for the light at the end of the Georgetown Middle wrestling tunnel Monday, Jan. 7, as the Knights defeated the Vikings 88-6, moving them to 0-5 on the season.
“It’s an improving year, it really is,” said the former Cape standout and first-year head coach. “When I looked at the roster from last year I saw that 16 eighth-graders went on to the high school. It’s a rebuilding year and we’ve got a lot of first-year wrestlers, but we’re learning through everything; we’ve got time to recover and learn different things.”
The Mariner Vikings return to the mat Monday, Jan. 14, as they take on the Indians at Selbyville Middle School.
