Mary Ganene Morlang, avid golfer

Mary Ganene Morlang, 84, of Rehoboth Beach passed away Friday, Aug. 21, 2020, at Cadia Rehabilitation Renaissance Healthcare in Millsboro.  She was born Jan. 15, 1936, in Wichita, Kan., daughter of the late Donald and Magdalena (Foreman) Davison.

Mrs. Morlang worked for 15 years as an administrative assistant at DuPont from which she retired in 2001. Mrs. Morlang was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching many sports. She loved going out for Mexican food, but most of all enjoyed visiting with her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morlang was preceded in death by her first husband, Everett Gray; her second husband, Theodore Morlang; and her daughter Cynthia Gray. She is survived by four children: Steven Gray of Malvern, Pa., Lori Steeves of Hammondsport, N.Y., Pam Hoover of Grants, N.M., and Paula S. Gray of  Rehoboth Beach; nine grandchildren: Cynthia Ramirez of Texas, Everett Gray of Delaware, Megan Myers of Florida, Stave Herbster of Florida, Justin Hoover of California, Luke Hoover of California, Sarah Hanna of New Mexico, George Hoover of New Mexico and Mary Hoover of New Mexico; and 10 great-grandchildren: Everett Coleman, Oakley Coleman, Cleo Gray, Deacon Gray, Brody Meyer, Blake Meyer, Callie Meyer, Jonathan Hanna, Henry Hanna and Everett Hanna.

Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
