Matthew Noah Collins, GMC Builders owner

Mr. Matthew Noah Collins, 32, of Gumboro, passed away Saturday July 11, 2015.

Matthew was born in Lewes, Jan. 13, 1983, to the late Granville Melvin Collins and Virginia Collins Layfield, who survives him.

Matthew owned GMC Builders where he built chicken houses. He loved what he did and the people he worked with. Matthew loved hunting, spending time with family and friends and he will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, son and friend. He is loved by many.

Matthew is survived by his fiancée Kelly Lewis; their unborn daughter Mattie Noel Collins; and stepchildren Jacob, Taylor, and Jaycie Miller. Matthew had a special place in his heart for his dog Teddy. He is also survived by a sister, Jessica Collins; a nephew and unborn niece, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services are being held at Watson Funeral Home 211 S. Washington Street in Millsboro, Saturday July 18, at 1 p.m., where friends may call at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the Bethel United Methodist Cemetery in Willards, Md.
