Meet Kathy Newcomb, Community Bank Delaware board member since 2013

Community Bank Delaware announced Kathy Newcomb is its Director of the Month. Newcomb has been a board member for Community Bank Delaware since 2013.

Newcomb is senior vice president of marketing and client services for Coldwell Banker Resort Realty in Rehoboth Beach. She began her real estate career in fall 1995 as a rental associate. Newcomb moved into the sales department in 2004. As a sales agent she has put her University of Delaware bachelor of science degree in business administration to use. During the past decade she has specialized in land development and new construction projects for the firm. In 2010, she earned her associate broker designation.

Newcomb is active in her community. She serves as treasurer and board member of Milton Little League. She is a board member of the Greater Lewes Foundation. She was recently honored with the 2017 Good Neighbor Award from the Sussex County Association of Realtors. In fall 2017, she will be joining the board of the Jason Anderson Foundation for Youth Sports.

Her goal in business is to develop lifelong relationships, and to provide the service to her clients and customers that will not only make them want them to use her repeatedly, but will compel them to share her name with their family and friends.

She resides in Milton with her husband and two children. Her career in real estate and Community Bank Delaware board involvement align perfectly, as Community Bank Delaware constantly seeks to provide clients lending opportunities that fit their desire for home ownership, investment purchases or commercial development.

Newcomb is passionate about supporting her community. Community Matters is a common thread between Community Bank Delaware and her personal desires within the community. As Community Bank Delaware's Director of the Month, Newcomb is awarded $500 for her charity of choice, the Milton Little League Lighting Project.
