Milford church to present introduction to Biggs Museum Oct. 8

The First Presbyterian Church of Milford will host its 2nd Friday program about The Biggs Museum Friday, Oct. 8, in its fellowship hall and available online as a Zoom meeting. Guest speaker Kristen Matulewicz will present “Get to Know the Biggs Museum,” including an overview of the museum and its history, upcoming exhibitions and a deep dive into several of its most popular pieces.

Matulewicz is the museum’s curator of Community and Academic Programs. She joined the Biggs team two years ago, bringing nearly eight years of museum education experience at a variety of institutions. She has worked with different age groups and learning styles, and most notably led the transition from in-person programming to virtual and hybrid programs, which won her the Delaware Art Education Association's M.U.S.E. 2021 Art Educator of the Year award in the Museum Category.
