Millsboro All-Stars win state title

The District III Big League champions made it through to the regional tournament by winning a best of three series with District II July 11-12.
The Millsboro squad opened the state championship series with an 11-0 win over Brandywine July 11. The District II team evened the series later that day with a 8-3 win. The rubber match July 12 went to Millsboro with a 6-0 shut out.
The Delaware District III Big League champion team from Millsboro Little League are boys aging from 16 to 18 who go to Sussex Central High School and Indian River High School. The team advanced to play in the regional tournament in Dover July 18-22.
