Beebe Healthcare and Millsboro Police Department representatives recently gathered for a surprise celebration to recognize Jalissa Jones, a nurse in the Beebe emergency department.
Millsboro Police Chief Brian Calloway presented Jones with a citation of excellence award for her selfless and lifesaving efforts during a homicide investigation in Millsboro. The officers noted her calm demeanor to provide medical assistance as EMS arrived on scene, which allowed police to focus on apprehending the suspect. Jones was joined by fellow nurses, Beebe leadership and Millsboro representatives during the recognition on the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus.
