Milton Arts Walk and silent auction set Oct. 15

Milton Arts Guild will host its 2022 annual art walk from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 15, celebrating the power of art on porches throughout downtown Milton.

The walk will incorporate a record 24 artists this year, beginning at the guild’s gallery at 107 Federal St. and spreading into the greater downtown area. Maps for the free walk will be available at the Federal Street gallery, where visitors can also bid on original 8-by-8-inch creations – designed by MAG artists – in a silent auction. Winners of each 8-by-8 artwork will be notified via phone at the end of the day.

“These two events – Art Walk and our 8 x 8 fundraiser – are favorites for our artists and our visitors every year,” said Sue Dutton, Milton Arts Guild board president. “The pleasant autumn air, the good spirits of our neighbors and friends, and the beautiful artwork all come together.”
