Milton Lions announce honors, welcome new members

The Milton Lions hosted District Gov. Daniel Elkins and his cabinet at the club’s November meeting.
Elkins presented chevrons for years of service to Harold Betts, 70 years; Jim Coverdale, Diane Lockwood, and Mary C. Hopkins, 30 years; and Wendy Coverdale, 20 years. He also inducted new members Pat Leef, Judy Redard, Lisa Hazel and Rob Hazel.
Four Milton Lions attended the Dec. 3 Governor's Ball honoring Elkins and his spouse Jessica Graham. Lion Brenda Coverdale was honored with an International President's Certificate of Appreciation from Brian E. Sheehan, Lions Clubs International president. Past International Director Steven Glass made the presentation. Coverdale was nominated by District Gov. Daniel Elkins.
